Prequalification Process

Coles Group prequalify its contractors to determine the health and safety competence of contractors. Only prequalified contractors will be invited to tender for work on sites.

Once accepted as a prequalified contractor, prequalification will remain valid as long as the contractor works for Coles Group and the pre-qualification status is maintained. Coles Group may conduct audits and spot-checks to verify statements by the contractor in the prequalification.

Coles utilises Cm3 to pre-qualify all high risk contractors. Further information on Cm3 can be found here

If the contract is low risk or non-physical it is preferred that Cm3 is used; however, an alternative pre-qualification process may be used such as the Contractor Eligibility Form, which can be accessed here
