Coles Group prequalify its contractors to determine the health and safety competence of contractors. Only prequalified contractors will be invited to tender for work on sites.
Once accepted as a prequalified contractor, prequalification will remain valid as long as the contractor works for Coles Group and the pre-qualification status is maintained. Coles Group may conduct audits and spot-checks to verify statements by the contractor in the prequalification.
Coles utilises Cm3 to pre-qualify all high risk contractors. Further information on Cm3 can be found here
If the contract is low risk or non-physical it is preferred that Cm3 is used; however, an alternative pre-qualification process may be used such as the Contractor Eligibility Form, which can be accessed here
